Innovation, Incubation & Entrepreneurship Cell (IIEC) of The New College was established to create and foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among the students and faculty in the college campus. It promotes innovations and start-ups and enables the transfer of knowledge.
The IIEC strives to create an environment conducive for nurturing original ideas of students and convert them into products and services that will benefit humanity. We believe that “no idea works unless one works on the idea,” and hence we inspire our students to work upon their innovative ideas.
The IIEC facilitates the conduct of various innovation and entrepreneurship related activities prescribed by Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell. It also organizes periodic workshops, seminars and interactions with entrepreneurs, investors and professionals, besides creating a mentor pool to support student innovators.
