The Career Guidance and Placement Cell play a vital role in bridging the gap between academic learning and professional aspirations. It provides students with information, resources, and counselling to help them make informed decisions about their future.
The objective of the Career Guidance Cell is to identify the talents, nurture and strengthen those abilities, and provide proper guidance to help them choose the right and bright career path.
The Career Guidance and Placement Cell of The New College functions under the direct supervision and guidance of the Principal.
A dedicated team of Professors, nominated by the Principal, work together to mentor and guide students in exploring diverse career opportunities.
The Career Guidance and Placement Cell facilitate students in enhancing their skills and preparing effectively for various competitive examinations, including Civil Services conducted by the UPSC and State Services conducted by the TNPSC.
The Cell actively collaborates with industry partners, organizations, and experts to organize placement drives, skill development workshops, seminars, and training programs that enhance the employability of students.
